Anita had just arrived at her house when she realized she didn't have her keys. Panic set in as she frantically searched her pockets and purse, but they were nowhere to be found. She cursed under her breath, wondering how she could have been so careless.

As she stood there, feeling defeated, her neighbor, Mrs. Jenkins, approached her with a concerned look on her face. "Is everything alright, Anita?" she asked.

Anita explained her predicament, and Mrs. Jenkins offered to help. Together, they retraced Anita's steps from earlier in the day, but the keys were nowhere to be found. Just when Anita was about to give up hope, Mrs. Jenkins suggested they check the backyard.

As they made their way to the backyard, they were greeted by a friendly golden retriever, wagging its tail excitedly. Anita recognized the dog as Max, Mrs. Jenkins' beloved pet. Suddenly, she remembered playing with Max earlier in the day and realized that her keys must have fallen out of her pocket while she was petting him.

Sure enough, lying in the grass was Anita's set of keys, glinting in the sunlight. She thanked Mrs. Jenkins profusely for her help and gave Max a pat on the head. As she finally unlocked her front door, she couldn't help but feel grateful for her helpful neighbor and her furry friend.
